Ways to Make FFXI Gil
Final Fantasy XI is the most popular title in the Final Fantasy series. Naturally the virtual currency used in it called Gil is on a huge demand and many online retail stores sell it. But if you want it to buy reliably cheap FFXI Gil, you should deal with only reputable retailer like IGXE.com. There are some other ways too to get Gil. If you have newly started playing FFXI, making a significant amount of gil is one of the biggest hurdles. You should first remember not to buy anything that you can obtain at cheaper rates in the town from the NPCs. These are swords, shields staves, h2h weapons, and more. Always ensure to check your local stores before you head to spend gil at the auction house.
On an average any player can make around 75-100k from farming for 3-4 hours a night, if you can see what items sell well at the AH and find areas where they can get those items. Getting a melee job along with a nicely leveled THF as a sub-job can create a big difference between getting nice drops, decent drops and hardly any drops. THF will have 2 useful things at level 15 – Treasure Hunter and Gilfinder. Treasure Hunter is good since it heightens the chances of mobs dropping normal items as you farm. Actually it doesn’t really help with NM drops, but some players may be good at that.
At lower levels chances are your THF will be too low down for a sub-job or rarely leveled at all for a major job. Some players level up THF to 15 for the traits listed above. However, if you are only a melee (MNK or WAR), THF is good for farming. Only keep in mind to change your sub-job before going out though. Nobody likes a gimpy sub-job.
An important thing you require is a good system working for you. Try farming on Monday to Thursday and party and doing missions and quests from Friday to Sunday. There are people who party on Monday to Friday but farm strictly on weekends. It depends on your choice. The amount of Gil varies as does the timetable you finds best suited to you.
