From The Depths – Induce the Engineer in You

If you have the passion of building your own machines and structures, you won’t have to wait for long, because a creative single player and multiplayer sandbox game – From The Depths – is around the corner, where players can build their very own combat machines block-by-block. So, you can build planes, space crafts, air balloons, submarines, ships, and even fortresses and other structures from hundreds of different blocks within procedurally created naval-based maps. At present in development From The Depths induces your creativity and the engineer in you.

The game is set in a fantasy world where players have to build their own fighting machines to survive and collect resources. From The Depths is being developed in Glasgow, Scotland and is due for launch in late 2014.

Alpha Phase

The development team of From The Depths is working hard to give weekly updates so as to be trialed by the fan community of the game.

Single-player Campaign

The single-player campaign of From The Depths will contain eight playable factions each having its own backstory and missions. Players will be given resources to complete several challenges. They should plan tactfully as the resources will be limited. Upon completion of tasks, the players will get more resources and technologies.

As seen from the videos and gameplay guide of From The Depths, a great flexibility has been offered in how you devise your vehicles and put in weapons, with all changes in mass and physics of every vehicle. The game also seems to be sporting a slick UI and some superb terrain visuals.

From The Depths has been Greenlit on Steam and is expected to appear in its early access version in near future.
