League of Legends
Have you played League of Legends? It is very competitive game and players roar when winning and whimper when losing. Experienced LoL gamers think it is more than a video game, but even the novice players can be thrilled by incredible online battlegrounds. League of Legends will surely provide you an explosive and unique gaming experience and, very important, it is free to play. Genre? There are elements of many genres blended in LoL: it is real-time strategy, RPG, action and tower defense game in one.
In a match, player is controlling a single champion. Summoner’s Rift is the default game mode in which there are two teams of five champions. Teams have the ultimate goal to destroy the nexus of the opposing team. The nexus are guided by three lanes of towers. What’s the catch? At the beginning of each match, champions are level 1 and they don’t have any items to back up the fight. In order to power up to a higher levels, champions have to focus on gaining experience and gold by killing AI-controlled minions. With gained gold, player can buy items and equipment. Once a champion us properly equipped, a player’s goal is not only to slaughter minions endlessly, but to push the army to destroy opposed team’s towers. However, enemies do not stand idly by watching someone destroys them.
League of Legends means teams grouping and fighting just like an unified force. This online game can be really engaging and very addictive (keep that in mind!) and you can always find someone online willing to fight with you. The graphics is not impressive, but if you game-play is really amazing. If you are not really into MOBA games or you have never played them before, I wouldn’t suggest LoL for you. This game is more appropriate for experienced fans of this genre. If you are willing to try this cutthroat competitive video game, good luck in joining the hordes of LoL fans over the globe.
