Ben 10 Ultimate Alien – Ultimate Alien RescueThe online flash game “Ben 10: Ultimate Alien – Ultimate Alien Rescue” is a reflection of the very popular television series of Ben 10 featuring a 16-year old boy Ben Tennyson who upgrades to Omnitrix, called Ultimatrix and becomes famous all over the world for his outstanding powers. Like most flash games based on a series, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien – Ultimate Alien Rescue tries to fit in the series’ story or involves the storyline of some episodes. With Ben 10 games being such a hot genre, this particular title has certainly heightened expectations of Ben 10 series fans. See an extensive array of Ben 10 games at

This is the story of 5 aliens who crash onto the Earth and return to their homes where they are captured by the evil Aggregor. Technically speaking, this takes place in the Ultimate Alien series, but the manner in which it is implemented makes the game fake exist between the “Fame” and “Escape from Aggregor” episodes, in that Ben 10 fortunately discovers about it and embarks upon to save them, but finally as Aggregor says “No one escapes me.” This does what the player does ultimately in the game which feels unimportant, however on the other hand it doesn’t disturb any tenet of the original series – so, it’s indeed a trade off.

Outstanding amongst the Ben 10 games, Ultimate Alien Rescue sports an opening as well as closing, and also a dialogue in every level although incredibly short. This is in fact quite nice to see in a flash game where several others maybe have some panels narrating the story in the best case. These are no way excessively in depth but every character seems to indeed have character, rather than just starting “Thanks, now save the next guy” in four ways. Hopefully, a flash game in the next series of Ben 10 games will have actual voice over dialogue.

The gameplay is like a standard platformer mostly, wherein players have to use Swampfire or even sometimes Ultimate Swampfire. Plus, the mouse can be pointed actually at enemies and shoot fireballs while heading along. In theory, this is a solid concept, but all the enemies have plenty of health, and several fire back, thus attempting to kill everything will usually end with be killed unless constantly dodging.

Apart from keys and health pickups, Swampfire are able to grab 1ups for additional lives and Ultimatrix pickups which offer the capability to convert into Ultimate Swampfire. Upon striking harder, the power will be washed off while playing as Ultimate Swampfire till conversion again back to regular Swampfire and it’s indeed a nice idea to only use it when you can possibly getting hit as Swampfire washes off Ultimatrix power and health as well. This is a fine way to crack monotony, but not essential to get along in the game.

Ben 10 games have usually good visual style and Ultimate Alien Rescue is no exception. The outstanding feature in the game is resemblance to the original story and not just copied from an episode. In all, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien – Ultimate Rescue is sure to captivate young players.
