GNationThe 2018 GDC Conference is this week in San Francisco. One of the top news out of GDC is the announcement by GNation President, Sergey Sholom about their two new products, Gshare and GPlay.

GShare is great news for all gamers. It turns your computer into a source of income by harnessing the power of shared economy. Whenever you’re not playing your favorite game, you can put your unused PC power to work and get rewarded in GameCredits. Behind the scenes, your CPU and GPU will perform calculations used for transaction validation, gene unfolding or something similar to SETI.

As a user, though, you don’t need to worry about that—simply install the program, press one button, and that’s it. GShare will automatically optimize performance based on your PC, so there’s no need for any additional setup. The only thing you need to decide is where you want to spend the GameCredits you’ve earned—in the GPlay game store or to purchase in-game items.

GPlay is an innovative game store that brings new elements to both gamers and game developers. It is a significant step forward in the way game stores usually function. This innovation comes in two fundamental forms: Esports and new types of competitive gameplay,
and new monetization opportunities.

Esports and competitive gameplay. By introducing new modes of competitive gameplay, developers can organize tournaments with enticing prize pools or step up the excitement of player vs player battles by introducing the wagering option.

Easy SDK integration makes it possible for developers to publish games on GPlay and receive payments in both fiat and cryptocurrency, and simple API rules enable esports functionalities.

The official release will be at the E3 conference (Jun 12, – Jun 14, 2018).
