Poppy the Plane and Aim and Shoot – Two Awesome Indie Games that will Never Let You be Bored Anytime

Nowadays waiting has become amusing instead of boring and irritating, courtesy to two free extremely captivating indie games by the developer Small Chimps: Poppy the Plane, and Aim and Shoot (Archery). Rather, I love to wait at dentist’s office, at a bus stop or railway platform, at a friend’s home while she is getting ready and we are to go for shopping, or outside my kid’s school and taekwondo classes. I can enjoy anywhere now and in fact wait for waiting!

Poppy the Plane

Poppy the Plane is a great funny game. There is a plane named Poppy and you have to save it from obstacles. You can tap and hold and let the plane drift, fly and glide through obstacles. What is so special about this game? I love its setting and splash of colors! Maybe you will call me childish but just take a look at the game and you will understand why I love it so much. Poppy the plane itself has a variety of colors and the colors are real bright, reminding you of the childhood fairytales that contained such colorful pictures which used to take us to another world! Well, I am not going to tell you to become a child again if you don’t want to, but the colorful setting will really please your eyes and will give you a retreat from the day-to-day stress. You will be relieved of your worries at least for some time and I think, it’s a great quality this game has.

The game’s background comes in three themes which too are spectacular. Poppy the Plane has 4 colors. The game is so easy that even your kid will learn it easily and love to play. You can share your highest scores on the leaderboard and compete with and beat your friends. And there are various prizes too! As you proceed, various achievements will be offered to you by Happy Poppy.

What I love the most in Poppy the Plane is that it’s very easy with one-finger interface. Plus it can be played on desktop as well as phones and tablets. And you don’t have to buy anything in the game. Even the game itself is free! Try it once and you won’t feel like putting it down.

Aim and Shoot (Archery)

Aim and Shoot too is from the same developer, Small Chimp, and is totally free! This game too is simple, yet extremely addictive. Here too the background is spectacular and you will feel that you are playing in a Tuscan landscape. Again the colors are simply delightful which turn me into a kid, longing to go to a fairyland. The setting is of a vast green lawn under blue skies with white clouds; a cute tiny path traverses the lawn, and there are some cypress trees scattered here and there. And there is a bow and arrow, and a target board with a bull’s-eye. You have to tap or click the bow to shoot the arrow and if it hits the central Bullseye, you get a bonus arrow. So, go on shooting! Just like Poppy the Plane, Aim and Shoot is an extremely addictive game and you will find it hard to put your device down!
