Video game lovers will get a new feast for their passion, in form of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, a new game by Metal Gear, on 19 February this year. The game will come to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Gamers are even more eager to put their hands on the game after playing the demo.

The game features return of Raiden and he is more a machine than a man, this time. The demo shows you the reasons for this. The game happens after four years of the Guns of the Patriots.

The Blue Mode is a little tricky to become used to. However, combat over all is pretty fluid. It creates great interest, because you won’t find it simple, but not even fearfully complicated. Good timing and accuracy makes a lot of combat possible.  For example, while facing more difficult enemies, timing a parry at the right time is critical and slicing at just the right point in Blade Mode means the difference between remaining alive or become dead in a moment.

A Bladehound, a huge dog robot as the first boss, is the best part. He has a whip in place of a tail and his back wears a massive chainsaw. It is fascinating because of the impressive AI in both, the storyline of the game and the actual combat mechanics. It is somewhat resembling a Dark Souls style boss, but is far more active and terribly quick.

You will soon be used to its patterns and set your timing, just like you did with Dark Souls. But you will have to die many times before getting it correct. Action-fans will certainly get a treat.

The graphics of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance are excellent. Even six or seven year old hardware can make this game look good, which is great.

You can get the demo on PS3 and Xbox 360, so hurry up to give it a try for yourself.
