minecraftEven if you have never played video games (which I surely doubt), you must have heard about Minecraft. It’s a “Lego”-like video game that became very popular among the kids; players can build whatever comes to their mind using pixelated cubes (check out crafting Minecraft fences). It’s safe to say that Minecraft is incredibly popular, but if we want to be precise, it’s been sold in more than 100 million times since launch in 2009! Should you go with the flow and try playing this game? I’ll give you several reasons for taking your chance with Minecraft!

Did you enjoy playing Lego when you were a kid? If the answer is yes, Minecraft may be your ticket back to the childhood, when you had nothing (serious) to worry about. Although it does have a learning curve, as soon as you learn the basics, you’ll be able to master your skills and build mansions, castles etc. Also, Minecraft is a perfect video game for people who once thought about becoming architects, yet chose some other profession.

Unlike other popular video games, such as, for instance, the FIFA football series or Call of Duty (which are also great, don’t get me wrong), Minecraft brings more than pure fun. Indeed, this game has an educational side too. You can learn principles of farming or understand economics better through trading with other players. Whatever you do for living and whatever your age or nationality is, with Minecraft you’ll surely learn something new.

Finally, Minecraft has many players and fans across the globe. Chances are, some of your friends or family members play it, too. This game can be a good way to spend some more time with people you love doing something fun and entertaining, something everyone involved likes doing. Even if you don’t fall in love with this game, it doesn’t hurt to give it a try!
