Steam Summer Sale 2013 Starts
Steam, the multiplayer gaming platform of Valve Corporation, started its annual summer sale today, through which you can get steep discounts on your favorite games till 22nd July. There are three options for gamers, viz. daily deals, community’s choice and flash sales.
Gamers will be provided discounts on particular games for 24 hours through daily deals. Listed on the website of Steam as of now is Bioshock Infinite for $29.99, down straightaway from $59.99, along with trading cards. Even Defiance gets a steep 66% discount, to $13.59 straight from $39.99, and Left for Dead 2 is at $4.99 i.e. 75% off.
There will also be discounts by Steam for next 23 hours on Mars: War Logs, Endless Space, Call of Juarez Gunslinger, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Endless Space, Don’t Starve and Toki Tori 2.
Steam Summer Sale features shorter eight-hour sale too. Now available are Dragon Age: Origins the Ultimate Edition for $8.99 (from $29.99), Grid 2 for $29.99 (from $49.99), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim the Legendary Edition for $35.99 (from $59.99) and Counter Strike: Global Offensive for $5.09 (from $14.99).
Any titles you want to purchase but are not able to see on the list? Then Community’s Choice is for you. Steam will offer three games every eight hours and ask gamers which one they want for a discount. In the most recent round, players have chosen Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3 or Dishonored for a discount between 40-66 percent.
For still other titles, you can add games to your wish lists and you will be notified when those games would be on sale.
