Well, for becoming a police officer, you won’t get any police academy in the game, neither will you get any applications to fill out for the post. However, you can get a job with Los Santos Police Department by changing clothes and stealing a police cruiser in the single-player story mode.

Steal a Police Cruiser

To locate the Rockstar Editor, you can pause the game and scroll through the main menu categories. Now select the Rockstar Editor and next select “director mode”.

In the director mode, you will find the casting menu at the upper-left corner of the screen. Now select “actors”, further “emergency services” and later “LSPD”. While you are in this menu, Michael will be waiting at the entrance of a trailer and you can see his clothes change depending on the option you choose.

After you select LSPD, you’ll return back to GTA5 from where you can jump in your stolen police car and start working.
