Unturned Review

Unturned can simply be described as a combination of Day Z and Minecraft, and your first glimpse of the game might lead you – wrongly I might say – to believe that it’s a poor game with horrific graphics, but I suggest you play the game a bit more before making an opinion about the game. It’s an outstanding survival game which is really fun to play.

Post-apocalyptic World

Like many other zombie games, this game is also set in a post-apocalypse zombie world, where places are haunted by bloodthirsty zombies. Why this actually happened – why people turned into zombies – is because of the deadly infection. Your position in the game is as a survivor, and you might be thinking that why didn’t I myself turned into a zombie because of the infection, and the answer is that you have a sort of resistance to the infection. This game is different from other zombie games because in it there are no chances that you will turn into a zombie, all you have to fear is that you might be eaten by the flesh hungry zombies. Possible Situations for Failure

Zombies aren’t the only possible situations for failure, there are much more. Take, for instance, the radiation meter: the more you are exposed to the zombies, the higher number will be shown on the radiation meter, and it will keep on increasing by more exposure. When it turns 100, you are dead. The other possibilities are that you also look for things like food and water to satisfy your needs, otherwise you’ll die.

This is the real location of the game, and it exists in reality. This place is actually located near the east coast of Canada. Apart from this touch of real life place, you will also find many places and buildings which are closer to reality; for instance, you will find military bases, airports, golf courses, campgrounds, farms, and many towns. The game has a considerable amount of gameplay. Even when you don’t indulge in minute details or distractive things, and instead focus on the most necessary things like collecting food, making shelter, getting guns and weapons for protection, and getting clothing, this alone will be comprised of many hours of gameplay. Besides, the crafting system in the game will keep you busy in multiple activities. For instance, you can build anything you like. The really amazing thing is that you can create an entire town on your own. The only limit is your own imagination.
